Welcome to La bergerie di barbara B&B. The charmy apartment is set on a quiet cliff half way between the centre of Taormina and the sea side. The little private terrace, open to the sunshine, is the ideal place to enjoy your breakfast, overlooking the scenic "Isolabella" a stunning cove with a narrow spit leading out to the nature reserve on a small rocky outcrop which is 5 minutes walk from the fashionable Mazzaro' bay. An independent entrance will lead you to a large living room, an open L shaped wall separates the king size bedroom area from the studio where a Tea, coffee corner with frigobar gives the facility of enjoying a fresh drink, a cup of coffee or a light snack at any time. A small room with 2 single beds is also available as well as a roll in bed for a max of 5 persons. A large bathroom with shower completes the tastily and simply furnished apartment. On request TV, safe deposit box, hair dryier and scooter can be supplied. From La bergerie di barbara you can reach Taormina by walking up, driving or by taking the funicular from Mazzaro' beach. Several places are available close by Taormina one is the Etna Volcano and the villages on its slope and where a beautiful 18 holes Golf course has an astonishing view over the coast. by CAR: from the motorway A 18 (Catania-Messina) you take the exit "Taormina", and then drive up for about 2.5 km direction Taormina-Centro. just 250 meters after you've passed the Parking LUMBI, you now turn left and follow the indications to the Terra Rossa. »»» Map »»»

by BUS: from Messina and (the airport of) Catania there are good busconnections. get off the bus at the Busterminal of taormina, and then proceed by taxi.

by TRAIN: get off at the station "Taormina-Giardini", and then proceed by bus to the Busterminal or directly by taxi.

by PLANE: the nearest international airport is at Catania (Fontanarossa).
